Oba means ruler or King in the Benin Language of West Africa a region which is in the modern republics of Benin, Nigeria. examples of a Benin bearer is Oba Ewuare II of Benin. There has been only one existing OBA (King) in the whole of Africa from Benin Kingdom, “OBA of Benin” Preceded by Oba Ewuare II of Benin Kingdom, The King who Decided to Name the Ruler (King) of Eko (Lagos) with the tittle “OBA” because Eko (Lagos) was founded by a Benin Prince from Benin Kingdom, They are the only two Kings with the tittle OBA. Benin City and Eko (Lagos). The ruler of Benin Kingdom and Eko (Lagos) are brothers.
