- I submitted an article for submission two weeks ago, Aug. 27. Although I received confirmation that it was submitted and could take three or more weeks for approval/posting, I now see that it states it was not submitted and that I can submit the draft any time. How can I confirm and check status?
Diane
- As long as there's a yellow "review waiting" message, the draft is correctly submitted for review. The "not currently submitted" message at the top is a relic that should have been removed by a bot; I'll remove it in a moment. Huon (talk) 20:07, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
- After looking at your draft I have to say it will not be accepted in its current state. It cites no reliable sources that are independent of the subjects. Facebook is not reliable because it's user-submitted content without any editorial oversight, and interviews are the authors speaking about themselves - that's not really independent. What we'd need are newspaper articles about them or published reviews of their works that discuss them in some detail. See also WP:BIO for our notability guideline for biographies.
