The article Automation Workshop has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Sourced with Primary sources and reviews that are not independent from the subject. Nothing found that establishes notability.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Why we have notability guidelines

Hi De DAC! I saw your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Automation Workshop and thought I'd gave you an explanation for why we do what we do as best as I can. Wikipedia is a target in information warfare by companies who want to use as free advertising space (antithetical to our goals), people who wish to sew directional political misinformation, people who want to spam links or insert jokes and vandalism etc. We wish to preserve our reputation and maintain a standardised quality of content, otherwise people lose faith and all the good information we have becomes useless, buried deep among trash or with no eyeballs on it. We ruthlessly trim articles that don't have in-depth independent secondary coverage because this is the pragmatic way to build a high-quality encyclopedia that is the largest in the world.

If you want to help, you can indeed help by pointing out articles that don't meet our criteria (we have very few dedicated volunteers in the community relative to our encyclopedia's size and so entire ecosystems of bad articles do need to be clamped down on from time to time). Feel free to find some articles you think don't meet WP:GNG and tell me about them on my talk page and I'll give you feedback on whether your assessments are right and what is to be done about it. Thanks! — Bilorv (talk) 02:19, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
