A tag has been placed on Dave Koehler requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 15:20, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dave Koehler for speedy deletion

Hello,

The reason I tagged an article you created for speedy deletion (Dave Koehler) is that the article does not explain why the person is notable to have their own Wikipedia article. There are many graphic designers out there, but what is it that makes Dave Koehler notable is what I'm trying to get at. Also, on a side note, I assume you are David Koehler based on your username. Just to let you know, it is strongly discouraged to create an autobiography. Autobiographies often result in a biased point of view and they often contain original research. Hope that cleared things up. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 15:52, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Dave Koehler. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 15:54, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please add messages to the article talk page

Hi again,

Yes, you can of course disgree with a speedy deletion request. However, please add your message on the article's talk page as a new message, as described in the hang-on tag, instead of writing messages on the actual article. An administrator will view your message and consider it before they consider deleting your article. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 16:02, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Dave Koehler. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 16:02, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
