With respect to the article on Irene H. Maumenee, please see WP:Copyright. It is not enough to assert authorship, you must formally provide the GFDL licensing. Please read the license requirements--you cannot limit it to use in Wikipedia, or even to non-profit use only, and you must assert that you , rather than the University, own the copyright. I advise you to do this immediately, or the page is almost certain to be deleted.DGG (talk) 00:19, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I see I wasn't the first to advise you on this. The Irene H. Maumenee page was deleted again for the same issues. Don't take it personally, but there is no way that your assertion of authorship can be verified without you formally releasing the text into the GFDL license as noted above. And a cautionary NOTE: Once in Wikipedia, the text is free. It can be used anywhere. It can be copied ruthlessly. It can be edited ruthlessly (not that it would by good faith Wikipedians, but you've seen vandalism here most likely, right?).
