My name is Christian Szabó , I am a singer, songwriter and the founder of Christone.

Ever since I was a child I have felt that music is the real world for me though I have come to know I could not ignore what grown-ups consider important in life.

So I started searching for an activity where my creativity could be combined with professional skills so while playing music throughout my high school and college years I remained focused on my studies and eventually graduated as an economist.

Compulsory college internship took me first to Monaco. Then I was given the opportunity to live, study and play music in clubs and bars around Paris. My stay in the French capital meant a lot to me in many aspects. It allowed me to improve my language skills (among other things, a 3-month training that I attended at the University of Sorbonne), get to know a lot of people with different national and cultural backgrounds and learn much more about music.

The experiences I gained during those years partly thanks to my journeys to countries like Spain, Brazil made me much more open-minded and I got ever more eager to become a resident of what we call the global village.

After I came home to Budapest (Hungary) I felt the need to improve my professional skills as a musician. I was very lucky to find a tutor whose name is Betty Balássy. Ever since we started to work together I have been benefiting from her experience and invaluable pieces of advice. She is the one who also features on my first album as a vocalist. I owe a lot to other professional musicians who encouraged and helped me record my first songs.

The latest idea I have been working on with some friends of mine is to launch a project which will involve anyone who is a great fan of music no matter where they live. For details see ‘world music project’.

Christone was born thanks to a lot of enthusiastic people from all over the world and that is what my music is about, ie to be colorful, outspoken, uniting ideas and thoughts from different corners of the world.

He is looking for an ever increasing number of participants who are willing to perform (as a musician, marketing expert, fan etc) in my songs.
