The ImmPort (Immunology Database and Analysis Portal) link was added to the External Link session of the "immune system" article. But it was considered as advertisement and was removed. ImmPort is actually a free resource funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Transplantation (DAIT). There are many immunology related information/data and data analysis tools collected in the website, provided free to biomedical researchers to use. The integrated bioinformatic resources in ImmPort is very valuable to life science researchers. So this is not an advertisement. It is related to the article topic, and it adds value to the article.Bisc import (talk) 15:52, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Then that database would probably be citable as a reliable source within the articles. Please use your knowledge and dedication to expand the article texts. Durova294 15:56, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the suggestion. Will do.Bisc import (talk)

Best wishes. We really could use more substance in some of those articles! :) If you'd like a few tips getting used to this place, we've got a program called WP:ADOPT that matches new editors with experienced editors. Durova294 16:15, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
