Hi Barbara. As you said, I deleted the article due to a lack of assertion of significance. In order to get past this, you need to provide a few reliable references from unrelated third party sources (such as national newspapers, mention on a national arts council website etc) about the subject. Another concern is that the article was also edited by User:Lindalevi, which is a possible WP:COI. Anyway, welcome to Wikipedia, and I hope you enjoy making a contribution.
