Deletion diffs

The IPs repeated 2 deletions made by EditorASC. The original edits about 10 hours earlier:

  • diff 1: 20:52, 10 May 2019   -2,326‎ bytes →‎Expert analysis: Rm OR statement that was not found in the cited sources.
  • diff 2: 21:17, 10 May 2019   -2,070‎ bytes →‎Speculations: Rm speculations section. Such speculations about the various tracings on the FDR record are controversial, premature, confusing and do not add to the needed factual clarity in this article.
Diffs between 2019-05-11 06:00 - 09:00 UTC

I've reverted these as non-consensus (imo disruptive) deletions:

User history before 09:00 shows EditorASC objecting the reverts within 44 minutes:

  • diff 5: 06:57, 11 May 2019   +1,002‎ →‎Discussion: 'unable to move the trim wheels by hand' and 'Speculation' section: Pure WP:OR statement was removed and it was wholly improper to revert it back in again.
  • diff 6: 07:14, 11 May 2019   +702‎ →‎Discussion: 'unable to move the trim wheels by hand' and 'Speculation' section: Both reverts were improper.

Article history before 09:00 shows the IPs repeating EditorASC's deletions, referring in the comment to the talk page post (06:57), just 48 minutes later (07:45):

  • diff 7: 07:45, 11 May 2019‎ 86.187.160.157   2,327‎ bytes   →‎Expert analysis: this claim seems to be wholly erroneous - see Talk page. Please don't restore it until there is consensus on the Talk page to do so. Thanks undo
  • diff 8: 08:18, 11 May 2019‎ 86.187.162.57   -2,070‎ bytes   agree with other editor, this is mere speculation that does not add to the factual clarity. No idea why this is considered "revenge". Why not discuss at the Talk page if you think it is so vital? undo Tags: Undo, section blanking
Interpretation
  • NPOV: The re-reverts 48 and 81 minutes after EditorASC's first post suggests 2 users watching the talk page, online between 07:57 - 08:45 & 09:18 Saturday morning (British Summer Time).
  • Diffs 5-8 follow each other within 20-30 minutes, between 6:57 and 8:18 UTC.
  • The IPs come from the same dynamic ip network of btcentralplus.com.
  • IP editors were not involved in recent decisions or disputes talk page stats this month.
  • The article is regularly edited by ca. 5 registered contributing editors (history stats). A few occasional IP editors made unrelated or insignificant edits (this month's stats).
  • The likelyhood of ip-hopping is subtantially higher than 2 anonymous users at the same ISP, watching the talk page early Saturday morning, promptly getting involved in a drama following a heated off-topic discussion (last post before deletions, diff).
  • EditorASC did not contribute to the article notably (all edits), his only content addition is 2 sentences (diff), but participated in the discussion (all posts), that became off-topic and heated (last post before deletions, diff).
  • His deletions came out of the blue, without any mention in the talk page before the edits (imo revenge).

POV: It would be very hard to find 2 users who:

  • are so interested in this article and the talk page, but not involved before
  • have a very specific minority POV
  • both decide to revert in a dispute, instead of discussing it
  • are online Saturday morning
  • "forget" to log in, but somehow get the notification of a new post or the revert, or look at the article and/or the talk page every half hour
  • and who happen to have the same ISP
