Your requested move of Orthopedics
Hi. You might want to complete Steps 2 and 3 at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:RM for your requested move. Might make things more organized and easier to parse. Best, BrianinStockholm 08:24, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

- Actually, I realized I hadn't done all the necessary formatting, but by the time I went back a few minutes later, the discussion had already been closed by an admin. Arbitrary username 10:57, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
Global warming/Models
Hi Arbitrary, you might want to read my comment on talk:Global warming and the exact quote from the report before you continue with your work on it. In short, I think William's solution (maybe with some extra copyedit) is probably better, as the quote says something very different than originally suggested. --Stephan Schulz 22:06, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
Mac
Hi Arbitrary, Hey what's up? Well, that's just a hello, I don't really expect an answer akin to "I'm fine, and you?." Skipping that part, I'd like to thank you for the smile you gave me when you said I was far more prolific and long-established. Ha! Thanks.
Ok, ok, ok, ok. I'm actually back to discuss my signiture. I'm thinking I'll keep that picture in it anyway eventhough it is against a guideline.
Reasons for no Images in Signatures
- They are an unnecessary drain on server resources, and could cause server slowdown: My 17px American Flag images have negligible impact on the servers' growth rate.
- A new image can be uploaded in place of the one you chose, making your signature a target for possible vandalism : Not going to happen, the American flag image's vandalism would be reverted in probably less than a minute--it appears quite a bit on Wikipedia.
- They reduce searchability, making pages more difficult to read: Again, mine is only 17px and its kern is smaller than that of regular letters!
- They make it more difficult to copy text from a page: Same reason.
- They are potentially distracting from the actual message: I don't believe so, it is extreamly small.
- In most browsers images do not scale with the text, making lines with images higher than those without: The kern is less than normal charachters
- They clutter up the "file links" list on the image page every time you sign on a different talk page: The "What Links Here" is extreamly valueable to the Wikipedians that utalize it. However, with the American Flag image, no uses will be disturbed.
- Images in signatures give undue prominence to a given user's contribution: Bah! I've been on Wikipedia for a while, and give enough love to it that I should be able to put a tiny little American Flag next to my name!!
Anyways, thank you very much for looking out for me and Wikipedia. I normally have working spell check here so I probably spelled some words wrong; I don't actually know the accurate way to spell "extremely." Hmm, that looks better than "extreamly." What do you think?
I saw your contributions to the Global Warming article. I'll check the talk page and edit there probably now, because from the edit conflict (above) I am guessing William McConnely is on there. GRRR!!!

I changed my mind, I will take it off. Maybe plain old text is flashy enough. — The Mac Davis] ⌇☢ ญƛ. 22:28, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
