Hi. Thanks for uploading Image:Santorini map.gif, it's a gorgeous map. However, I don't think it can be used in Wikipedia because it looks like the map is from another website and is copyrighted. I've tagged the image as a possible copyright violation and it will probably be deleted. If you know that the image is not copyrighted and that Wikipedia has permission to use it, please add an image copyright tag to it. The image is used on another web site for a reason...this is a digital scan of maps issued by the greek national tourist organization that all tourists have access to on the islands. Furthermore, this site www.diamoni.gr has no copyright on this image. --User:Andruzzo Jun 26, 2005

Thanks for uploading Image:Paros-map.gif. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.
