Well, I wouldn't say people aren't enjoying them. The article on laxoox helped me out a bunch, actually. You can never tell who reads the articles you write and when you write on relatively obscure subjects to English speakers you don't get many other editors. The articles you wrote are linked to so it is quite likely that people reading about Somalia and the horn of Africa will see the articles--you just can't tell when they see them. I am a little worried about the images. Do you own the copyright on all of them in order to put them into the GFDL? It just is very unusual if you took them and they are all cropped to such small sizes. You may be able to make a fair use claim on them if you can cite a source for them. On your request I added Serbo-Croatian language as well. As you mays ee frommy user page I study philosophy and, as part of it, I read a lot of theology. That, combined with my interest in customs and traditions led me to study Islam form a non-political POV. Not that I ever studied it otherwise. I created the аrticle "Islam" ("Ислам") on the Macedonian wiki as well as all the other articles related to it.

I am also an avid architectural connoisseur like yourself and wrote on many architectural styles and landmarks. If you need any material as to Macedonian architecture in particular (that cannot be found on this wiki) I am laways willing to help. --B. Jankuloski 00:54, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I noticed that you had uploaded this image and added it to the Rageh Omaar article yet you have tagged it as having been your own work. Without wanting to appear rude, I have to doubt that this is the case. Do you have the source of where you found this image as by seeing that, I could advise you of the best copyright tag that could be used instead, otherwise the image will need to be deleted. My apologies. I hadn't realised you were archiving your messages so soon after getting them. My fault. If you don't know where the image actually came from then it will be deleted in 7 days per the criteria for images with no source. If you can recall where it was from then you are welcome to enter that onto the image page, select the correct copyright tag and reinstate the image in the Rageh Omaar. Cool! That would certainly be helpful... I guess that if it's too difficult using computers, the best way would be to write cautiously the names on the map with a black pen (making numbers and a legend for the countries which are too small to write their name in it). Since we're not allowed to copy maps because of copyright, we just have to make them! Then, if you've put the names on the map, maybe you can scan it & put in in Wikicommons. Of course, I'm only proposing this to you, as I thought maybe you would be interested in it — I still have a hard time remembering all of the countries of Africa, and when you do this kind of thing, it certainly helps remembering them (even years later!). If you think it's just a bother I'm asking you, don't do it! Feel free beside to leave me a message if you have any question about whatsoever. May I add that I took the liberty to cut out one sentence of yours from Hassan II Mosque? I thought your adds were very good, I just didn't really like the statement saying "Although a French architect designed it, it's Moroccan through to through." Yes I did! I do think they're interesting, I like cooking & food is like music, it easily cross borders and you don't have to understand a foreign language to appreciate a nice meal! The photos you've added also are nice, in particular for the Dabqaad and its Arabic equivalent. thanks for the addition of an image to the Gur-e Amir page. Unfortunately the photograph shows one of the domes of the Shir-Dar Madrasah in Samarkand, rather than Timur's tomb.
