Welcome

Hello, Aaschnobrich, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that one of the first articles you created was Aaron Schnobrich, which appears to be an article about yourself. This is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! agtx 18:22, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Aaron Schnobrich requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. The article Aaron Schnobrich has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Producers, co-producers, and infoboxes

I already posted this to the IP editor's talk page, and I will copy-paste it here, too, since you seem to be the same person.

Hi there. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. If you like film, you might want to check out WikiProject Film, a collaborative project that seeks to improve the coverage of films and filmmaking on Wikipedia. Unfortunately, I reverted your change to This Is Martin Bonner. The problem is that we don't list co-producers in the infobox. I realize there isn't any real way that someone could know that beforehand, and it's one of the problems that I have with Wikipedia – new editors are dumped into this environment and expected to know these sorts of things without any help or guidance. Somewhere along the line, it was decided that we would only list full producers (not co-producers, executive producers, or associate producers) in the article infobox. I like to list the executive producers, if they are notable, in the article's lead. It makes sense that Charles Band, Roger Corman, and other prominent producers would be listed prominently somewhere in the article. However, for a co-producer who does not have his own article, I think it would be a bad idea to single out this person in the lead. If you are this person, then you should be aware of our guidelines on how to manage a conflict of interest. There is no blanket rule against editing films you worked on, but it is discouraged. The thinking is that one can not write neutrally about one's own work. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 18:24, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
