Aaron Borders

Aaron Borders is a current resident of Litchfield Park, Arizona but was born on July 25th 1985 in Newark, Ohio. He grew up an entrepreneur, starting many small neighborhood businesses from paper routes to landscaping. At age 15, he sold his landscaping business to a larger company.

Through college he managed restaurants, and became the GM of a family ice-cream, pizza & sub parlor (Panther Pizza Hanover,Ohio). After studying Business Management in college he attended trade school an became a licensed Journeyman brick, block and stone mason.
After working only a couple of years as a Mason for a small family construction company, he became a partner of the business (Renaissance Remodeling. With his background in Business Management, he helped grow the business from a small family owned company to one of the largest remodeling companies in central Ohio. When the 2008 recession hit, the business slowed and soon came to a halt. There were no homes to build, and his remodeling clients were holding onto their money and canceling scheduled projects. Aaron nearly lost everything over night. Within months he was forced to lay off nearly all the employees and gave up his share of the business.
He moved to Arizona with his wife Shelly and their two young sons to start anew. However, the job market was just as bad in Arizona as it was in Ohio and the Borders family fell on rough times like so many in the country. Out of desperation Aaron made a career change to earn his certificates to become an Insurance Agent specializing as a Risk Auditor and Financial Specialist.
Now, Aaron Borders is a Financial Specialist for 12 different Allstate offices, helping others with their financial and retirement goals. Aaron also volunteers as Government Affairs Representative for NAIFA , West Valley Chapter. He does this job so Insurance Agents will have a voice in legislation that directly effects their industry. He spearheaded efforts to get a consumer protection bill passed for life insurance purchasers in the 2013 legislative session. It was signed into law at the end of the 2013 legislative session by Governor Jan Brewer. Aaron also volunteers his time as a Little League Coach for boys in his neighborhood for Grid Iron Flag Football.
