Please do not reinsert claims about Jia Tolentino's parents into that article without reliable sources that mention Jia Tolentino. Poorly substantiated claims about crimes committed by people who are merely related to her aren't relevant to her article, per WP:BLP. There's a discussion regarding this topic from last year, if you want to revive it. - Desine (talk) 02:01, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Her own blog doesn't count as a reliable source? Her blog is the referenced source here, while she herself is calling out other "unreliable sources."68.37.207.183 (talk) 00:19, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
In general, no. WP:RS has a bit more about why. People's personal blogs are generally only useful for anodyne, uncontroversial facts (her age, where she lives, etc.)
More importantly, we follow what the sources deem important. Has anyone reported on this story and mentioned Jia Tolentino in relation to it? It's not Wikipedia's job to be the first source reporting on this connection, and currently the only other places reporting it are personal blogs and Twitter users who very clearly have a grudge against her. - Desine (talk) 03:28, 9 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
