@Adakiko Please explain how the original edit was useful if it is to remain included. The article is about "pretendians," not "the troubled history of people who interact with 'pretendians.'" Elizabeth Warren is clearly a subject worthy of inclusion in this article. Donald Trump does not *need* to be mentioned at all in her segment because he was not personally involved in any "pretendian" behavior himself, nor did he contribute in any way to Warren's years of false claims to indigenous heritage.

An argument *can* be made that Donald Trump was a contributing factor to increasing the visibility of Warren's transgression (which is why I left that part), but as she is the focus of the article and not him, and he has no history of actually claiming indigenous heritage (even in the sourve cited), then adding his history of negative interactions with *actual* indigenous people is irrelevant, as I stated.

Trump's response demonstrates some of the problems pretendians cause. Also, you removed the citation supporting Trump satirizing Warren. Adakiko (talk) 21:31, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
