Érica Rivas (Spanish: [ˈriβas]; born 1 December 1974) is an Argentine actress. She gained recognition for playing María Elena Fuseneco in the sitcom Casados con hijos (2005–2006) and for her role in the film Wild Tales (2014).[1][2][3]
Early life
Rivas was born on 1 December 1974 in Ramos Mejía, Argentina. Her father was an actuary and her mother was a literature professor.[4] She was raised in a middle-class home, with two sisters and a brother.[4][5] She attended Emaús school and later pursued a degree at psychology at the University of Buenos Aires. However, she dropped out of her fourth year to focus on acting.[4]
