Slammiversary 2007

Slammiversary 2006 was the second annual Slammiversary professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. It took place on June 18, 2006 from the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida.

Slammiversary 2006 marked the fourth anniversary of the promotion. In a tradition continued from Slammiversary 2005, all the referees dressed in old-school pale blue long-sleeved dress shirts, black slacks, and black bowties, instead of the usual short-sleeve striped shirts and black slacks.

Background

The event featured nine professional wrestling matches that involved different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots and storylines. Wrestlers were portrayed as either villains or fan favorites as they followed a series of events which built tension, culminating in a wrestling match or series of matches.
