Introduction

Hey, I'm a Wikipedian, and my username is Wolverine X-eye. I spend most of my time on Wikipedia editing articles about animals because I find the animal kingdom to be so fascinating. I'm particularly fascinated by fish, birds, reptiles, and some invertebrates, but mammals are my favorite subject matter. As a niche editor, I don't often edit entries that fall outside of my expertise. With that in mind, if you ever come across an animal article that needs improvement, please don't mind seeking my help, as I will try by all means to make that article better. Considering the number of felid FAs and GAs we have, I'm reluctant to work on WikiProject Cat articles, despite them being my favorite animals.

About me

My real name is Kevin, and I was regrettably[sarcasm] born between 1997 and 2012, which puts me in the Generation Z age range of 13–28. I consider myself to be a determined, somewhat robust, and adaptive individual. This is especially true when you consider all the hardships and trials life has thrown my way, yet despite these very real challenges, I somehow manage to come out a better man, not only mentally and spiritually, but also physically. The attitude I show is one that may not be that clear, but is nonetheless pretty interesting. If my friends were to describe me they'll likely say that I'm a nonchalant, down-to-earth, complicated human being. I do sometimes show emotions when editing, but that rarely gets in the way of my interactions with others (and I do quite a lot of those). I maintain civility, however, this does not or should not imply that I'm a people pleaser or that I won't criticize your behavior. Yes, I might talk a little too much at times, but I have the wherewithal, ingenuity and shrewdness to know exactly when to zip that mouth of mine (not sure how that will apply in a digital environment). With all that being said, I would further describe myself as a chill guy with a wide variety of interests, so it's likely we both have an interest or two in common--that is unless you are interested in rocks or something.

Speaking of interests, here are few of mine: Christianity, zoology, wrestling, football, martial arts, sex, crime stories, freak accidents, history, photography, psychology, astronomy, politics, computer science, video games, chess and gymnastics. As can be see above, I'm a religious man with a strong faith towards the creator God the father, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and the Christian ministry. I also have a strong love for animals, particularly mammalian carnivores, though I love all animals regardless. I'm a passionate sports fan, with my favorite sports being wrestling (WWE) and football. In these two sports, my favorite wrestlers are Roman Reigns, Shawn Michaels and John Cena, and my favorite footballers are Zinedine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Robin van Persie.

On Wikipedia, I have a way of doing things such that my wikiphilosophy is to take part in a variety of procedures while concentrating on a single topic at first. The Wikipedia processes in which I am involved, or would like to be involved, are content creation, semi-automated editing, new page patrolling, AFD, GA & FA processes, and aiding others at Teahouse/Help Desk. When participating in these areas, I make an effort to be as respectful as possible, so I would expect you to reciprocate. I've also made an edit every day for the past year or so, as some of you guys might have figured out. That said, I do expect to be editing here for 20 or more years.

I’ve grabbed so many of Vincent K. McMahon’s imaginary brass rings that it’s finally dawned on me that they're just that, they’re completely imaginary. The only thing that’s real is me and the fact that day in and day out, for almost six years, I have proved to everybody in the world that I am the best on this microphone, in that ring, even in commentary! Nobody can touch me!

You know, when I was 19 years old, I started doing this stuff and... At 23 I started coming in to each and every one of your homes, every week. And the idea of now being 44 and - I don't know - not coming into your homes on that TV set every week is gonna be a little tough to get used to.

Shawn Michaels, "The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels has left the building" (2010)

Eight years ago I broke my neck. I had spinal fusion surgery, which means they move your throat over, put a plate in there and screws. Its really in depth surgery. But because of that surgery I knew that I was wrestling on borrowed time from that point on. So fast forward in the last little while I've been in a lot of pain. I've been losing feeling in my arms. So I passed a strength test and I made it through WrestleMania, but the WWE wanted me to take more tests, and thankfully I did because the MRI shows that I have to retire.

My real name is Joe and I've been living with leukemia for eleven years. And unfortunately, it's back. And because the leukemia's back I cannot fulfill my role, I can't be that fighting champion and I'm gonna have to relinquish the Universal Championship.

Roman Reigns, "My real name is Joe and I've been living with leukemia for eleven years" (2018)

See, when I step into this ring, yeah bro, I am addicted, I'm addicted to the high that I get from them [the fans in attendance]. I'm addicted to the high that I get when I go home and I tell my family 'Hey, I'm doing it'! I'm addicted to the satisfaction that I get to tell everybody like you, that didn't believe in me, you can stick it up your ass! I'm addicted to the Do-Or-Die-feeling, holmes, that I'm gonna have this Sunday night at No Way Out. Because you know as well as I do, holmes, ohhh what a high it is when we're in here, brother. See, but the difference between you and me, Brock, is that I'm an addict and I'll do anything and run over anybody that it's gonna take to get that around my waist and get my high at No Way Out and become the WWE Champion, orale vato!

Eddie Guerrero, "I'm an addict and I'll do anything and run over anybody that it's gonna take to get that around my waist" (2004)

You're right, man. This, this is all I have. This couple minutes a night, three hundred nights a year. This is my everything, I don't think that's a surprise to anyone when they know that I live for this. This, this is what I love! But you know what, sometimes things you love don't always love you back. And you can give, and you can give, and you can give, and you can give, and you can give, and you can give, and sometimes you get nothing in return. You get nothing!
