Silently Destroyed is the first novel by author Bisan Akel, published on Wattpad in February 2017. The story has received positive feedback all over and is bound to be a great success.

Plot summary

Rihanna Campbell—a 20-year-old in her junior year of college who got into a car accident with her mother, who had been sick and separated from her husband, and best friend, Jessica, leaving her paralyzed, and her mother dead—finally wakes up after 2 months of being in a coma. Her sister, Skylar, moved in with her boyfriend, leaving Rihanna to deal with her death and her father's disappearance alone. After being in physical therapy for 3 months, she meets Adam Stone, who saved her from an attack by her father's drug dealer, who was in-need of money. Rob, the drug dealer, attacks Rihanna and asks for the location of her father, which she has no knowledge of. Adam protects her and gets his gang involved in this too, but will he be able to protect her, or will she slowly destroy herself?

Character Profiles

Adam Stone— a hot, muscular 21-year-old Californian studying neurology at University of Oxford. He is following his father's career path, which he hates, he has a strong passion for photography that no one knows about. He may seem like a complete asshole, but can be a sweetheart at times.

Rihanna Campbell— a short Brighton-native 20-year-old girl, also attending University of Oxford. She isn't the most popular at her school, yet not what you would classify as a nerd. Lost her mother in a car accident that left her paralyzed and her dad left her at the age of 5.

Jessica Robertson— the daughter of college professor, Dean Robertson. Jessica lives in the dorm-rooms with Rihanna and is her best friend since the second grade. Jessica considers Rihanna her younger sister and tries to loosen her up all the time by inviting her to parties.

Skylar Campbell— Rihanna's older sister. Not the sweetest towards her sister and never contacts her. She lives with her boyfriend who she seems to have a constant on and off relationship with. She can't seem to keep the same guy for over 4 months.

Liam Watson— a 25-year-old clinical psychologist. He is a clinical psychologist and an alumni of the University of Oxford. His parents are divorced and lives with his mother while his brother lives with his father.

William Watson— the brother of Liam Watson who lives with his father. He is 21-years-old and is at his senior year at the University of Oxford. William is majoring in computer science.

About the Author

Bisan Akel is a 14-year-old is a Palestinian-Jordanian girl who lives in Saudi Arabia. Akel has always been the positive and popular one out of her friends and always knew how to cheer people up. Writing was always something Akel wanted to get into at a young age and found Wattpad the perfect place to publish her work and show her talent. Her latest book, Silently Destroyed, is a book she has been working very hard on with her editor and friend, Wissam Aassar. The book is an absolute success and is sure to receive great deals. Akel is also working on an iPhone game and is in a successful band, Constellations, with a few of her friends. Akel also enjoys making musical.lys and has gained a large following on the app. Akel aspires to be a writer and psychologist in the future.
