Valarie Kimani (born 27 October 1984)[1] is a Kenyan singer, songwriter, actress and reality television star. She rose to fame after being the inaugural winner of Tusker Project Fame in 2006. She released her debut album in Baiskeli in 2007. Apart from singing, Kimani was cast in the first season of Shuga.

2006; Tusker Project Fame

In 2006, Kimani and other contestants from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania battled for the ksh 5 million cash prize for the first season of singing competition Tusker Project Fame.
