Contest overview
Semi-finals
In each semi-final, eight entries will compete for two spots in the final, with qualifiers decided by a combination of votes from domestic juries and a weighted public televote. Of the entries that do not qualify directly to the final, the two entries in each semi-final with the highest televote scores will qualify to the Second Chance round.[1]
Heat 1
The first heat will take place on 27 January 2024 at the Laugardalshöll in Reykjavík, Iceland.[2]

Second Chance
The Second Chance round will take place on 2 March 2024 at the Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn, Estonia. Ten entries will compete in the Second Chance round. The top five entries as decided by weighted public televoting will qualify for the final.[3]
Final
The final will take place on 9 March 2024 at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. Fifteen entries will compete in the final. The result will be decided by a combination of voting from domestic juries (25%), international juries (25%) and a weighted public televote (50%).[4]
