Fig Tree Bay is a small bay, within protaras, cyprus. The bay has a small island close to the shore. There is a large hotel apartment complex nearby along with several bars and resturants and a car park making it a busy area for tourists during the summer months. The bay is popular with snorkeling due to the rocks adjacent to the south of the bay and the rocky island which have many different types of fish.

Before the creation of the tourist resort of protaras, there was a single fig tree overlooking the bay. Locals originaly gave it this name due to the tree. People are free to take the figs from the tree.

The bay has only a small beach and is usually crowded with tourist, mainly on sunbeds or swimming in the bay. There is also a watersports company that operates in fig tree bay and lets tourists rent a jet ski, a pedalo or do other activites where a qualified boat driver pulls people along or go paragliding.
