Thomas P. McLaughlin is a retired US Army Warrant Officer living in Alexandria, Virginia.

  • He was born in Washington DC, and grew up in Honolulu,HI, New York City, and many other interesting places.
  • He is a graduate of Lake Forest College, Lake Forest, IL, and holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Hawaii, Manoa.
  • During his 36+ year Army career, he served, among other places, in Vietnam, Korea, and Japan. He is a veteran of Vietnam, Desert Shield/Desert Storm, and Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom (OEF/OIF).
  • He most recently worked as a DoD Civilian Intelligence Analyst in the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (DCSINT/G2), United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC), Ft. Shafter, Hawaii, and concurrently as Senior Intelligence Analyst in the Directorate for Intelligence (J2), Joint Task Force-Homeland Defense, also at Ft. Shafter.
  • He currently works as a DoD Civilian Intelligence Analyst with the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (USA INSCOM)
