The Wartime Social is the new project from A+ Machines guitarist Ryan Holley and former Canvas Bassist Brad Byram. In the spring of 2005, Ryan Holley teamed up with former American Super Hero guitarist Aaron Frescas and former Turbo Dwarf bassist Barry Keesey. All three had played a great deal of shows together in the late 90's and had shared an ideal outlook on the music industry. It only made sense that they would all form a band together. Marty Mack, the drummer from the San Marcos cult favorite Turbo Dwarf joined in the fall of 2005 and the line up was set. The line up also included former Pavlov's Dogs bassist Mike Flowers but had he had to depart in 2006 for personal reasons. In the summer of 2006, Brad Byram came on board to complete the current line up.

The original line up included a 3 guitar format featuring Barry Keesey on Guitar and Keyboards but in the fall of 2006, Barry switched to being a full time keyboardist - a new venture for the former bassist. With a complete new line up, a hold on their sound - the band was ready for the Studio. The band entered the studio with Grammy nominated Steve Chadie in the Fall of 2006 to record the World that never dies - The Wartime Social's first EP.

The EP, The World that never dies is due out in April of 2007.
