"The Black Ships" is a band of four Japanese musicians from Tokyo, with guitar vocal Jun Takata, Bass Jun Nishimura, Key Board Yu Tanaka, and Drums Yusuke Sasaki. Jun Takata, the singer and song writer of the band, was born and raised in New Jersey where through his childhood was strongly influenced by the 90's alternative and grunge rock scene.
