Wild Bill Hickok

When I choose research projects, I Choose something that  I know a tiny, tiny bit about. In this case, I am doing James Butler Hickok, and all I know about him is that I am a distant, distant  relative of him.

Death at Deadwood

First, He was killed during a card game. When shot, Hickok was playing five card draw, and was holding a pair of aces and a pair of eights (the final card had been discarded and its replacement had possibly not yet been dealt). The fifth card's identity remains the subject of debate.
