Elohor Godswill Ekpolo (born 14 May 1995), simply known as Godswill, is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a right back for Spanish club Barcelona B.

Career

Born in Benin City, Godswill emigrated with his parents to Tarragona, Catalonia, in 2001 at the age of six, immediately joining CDC Torreforta.[1] He moved to FC Barcelona's youth ranks in 2005, and was a part of their under-19 team which won the 2013–14 UEFA Youth League,[2] scoring four goals along the way.[3]

On 22 August 2015, he made his senior debut for the reserve team in Segunda División B, playing the final four minutes of a 2–1 defeat at UE Cornellà in place of Xavi Quintillà.[4]

Style of play

British broadcaster Talksport described Godswill in February 2014 as physically strong full-back with a goalscoring knack, resembling his idol Eric Abidal in his manner of play.[3]
