Jeridah Andayi is a Kenyan journalist and an advocate for women in the media industry [1] She has fought for safe space for women in media within their workspace when harassed by male colleagues [2]
Early life
She grew up in Busia, a county bordering Kenya and Uganda with desire of becoming a journalist at some point in her life. She went to Chakol High school in the same village where she was brought up [3]
Career
Andayi is head of radio Citizen and continuity host at the same radio station [4] Earlier in her career, she worked at KBC [5]
Family
She is a mother who understands diversity of her children [6] She is also a wife [7] Andayi is an orphan [8]
