Sheikh Saleh Jassim Al-Tahhan,  (1940-2000) was born in Kudna Al-Nuaimiya in the province of  Quneitra in Syria    in 1940.he is considered to be one of the most important members of the Naeem tribe in the 20th century  . he joined the university of Damascus where he earned his  bachelor's degree in law, as well as   he  completed his studies receiving a bachelor's degree in business administration from the same university.he then moved to Egypt to pursue postgraduate studies in administrative sciences. He worked as a lawyer and was elected a member of the Syrian parliament in 1973.    Sheikh Saleh Al-Tahhan was a loyal and devoted person in all forums, and also he was  known for his constant preoccupation   with the issues of the poor which made him a  prominent figure among the people of his province and other ones , especially in Damascus. He died in June 2000, His immaculate body was took to his last resting place in a mass funeral that included  hordes from all parts of Syria  from officials and the general public.[1]
