George L. Davis, born March 30, 1970 is an anointed leader and teacher of the Gospel. He is the pastor of Impact Church in Jacksonville, Florida.

Biography

George L. Davis was born March 30, 1970 in Detroit, Michigan, where he attended Michigan State University and majored in Mechanical Engineering. It was at Michigan State where he met his lovely wife, April. At the direction of the Holy Spirit, Davis left Michigan State to attend Word of Faith School of Ministry (now recognized as Pistis School of Ministry). It was at Word of Faith School of Ministry where Davis obtained the training to prepare for the call of God upon his life.

After graduation, Davis served as assistant pastor of Word of Faith International Christian Center under the direction of Bishop Keith A. Butler. It was in 1996, Davis and his wife April relocated to Jacksonville, Florida to become pastors of Faith Christian Center. Through the direction of the Holy Spirit in 2014, Davis changed Faith Christian Center's name to Impact Church. With this name change, it brought great power to the congregation. Under Davis' direction, the Impact congregation has gone from 12 members to over 4,000 members.

Davis' heart for Impact is for the ministry to teach and nurture each follower to follow Christ and live a victorious life.

Ministry Career

During his time in ministry, God has laid on Davis' heart 7 cities within the state of Florida known as "Impact 7". Longing to make a greater impact on the state of Florida and beyond, Davis oversees churches, not just in Jacksonville, but Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Tallahassee, and Daytona. Davis also oversees churches in Norfolk, VA; Valdosta, GA, the DMV area and Piura, Peru.

In 2007, Davis established George Davis Ministries (GDM), where he is impacts lives internationally. Davis has ministered in South Korea, Uganda, Haiti, Peru, Bulgaria and the Dominican Republic.

Davis is host a weekly broadcast "Born to Win" and a frequent guest speaker on the Trinity Broadcast Network [TBN]

Personal Life

George L. Davis and his wife April Davis reside in Jacksonville, Florida with their three children.
