Cloud computing is the new technology that is used in the IT field to help serve customer’s in the business world. Because small and big business companies are growing, the IT business is growing, there is a demand need of help handing large amounts of data and organizations managing computer needs. Cloud has common solutions for managing task, installing/upgrading applications, networking, productivity, storage, and less costly. Since Cloud computing is a new type of serve there are advantages and disadvantages to its approach (1).

Although Cloud computing started a few years ago, but it was actually predicted 45 years ago by a computer scientist name John McCarthy in 1961(1). Cloud computing gives businesses an easy way to pay as they go IT services (1). Another new big service they provide is a “virtually unlimited scalability over a broadband network connection” (1).
The cloud service is potentially beneficial to help solve business problems both professional and technical. IT service can be expensive and moving towards cloud can save you massive amount of money for business companies. There have been problems with uploading new applications and upgrading. What cloud can do is automatically help you with deploying applications and upgrading applications while conserving. Also it will help “shorten the time is takes to bring a new product or service to market” (5).
Cloud is not for everyone. How do you know if it is a good fit for you? If you use a great amount of applications or run a big company and you can’t seem to figure out how to organize everything, maybe cloud might be a good fit for you. An application software company name Red Hat works with a well-known company name SAIC using the latest cloud service (7). Red Hat offers security, scalability, interoperability and portability to reduce infrastructure and provide increased capability for the U.S (7). Department of Defense (7). Red Hat brings engineered to low cost enabling “more agile service delivery,” allowing Department of Defense customers to easily use cloud (7). Red Hat created a way to help organize, develop, and implement a cloud strategy to make the program knowledgeable and more practical use for applications using Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) (7). In result, The Red Hat company has a long relationship with SAIC because it has helped improve SAIC support system, security, and scalability products.
Another company name SunGard’s cloud services helped organize ZL problems in cost, management, and data (6). “We looked at a cumber of competing, cloud solutions and selected SunGard’s because it was the best fit in helping…” said Mr.Chan, CEO of SunGard (6). So far they have helped ZL by using Infrastructure-as-a-Service to give multiple layers of protection such as firewalls, segregated Layer 2 networking and integrated virtual network, system monitoring, patching, backup, maintenance, and more. ZL has improved since SunGard and has a strong stand relationship with each other and plan on expanding while using cloud.
However, cloud is still new and there could be possible problems that might come out later. Overall, it has been helping massive amount of companies with their management and computer system for both technical and business issues. Cloud has demonstrated managing critical computer problems, and has a great amount of digital storage that is needed within the company. It brings a great amount of relief when it comes to business and with cloud there is a solution to expand better business for customers.
