Murray Carcary, a goalkeeper, began his career as an apprentice with Bournemouth, turning professional in July 1994. He failed to break into the first team at Dean Court, leaving league football.

Multiple knee operations ended his playing career early. In the 2008 season he was coaching for Welling United, moving to Maidstone United in 2010.
