System-On-Chip (SOC) Technologies Inc. is a supplier of semiconductor IP cores, FPGA Prototype Boards and system-on-a-chip solutions for video/audio coding and multimedia communications [1]. The company specializes in video compression and audio compression technologies and sells a range of video/audio IP cores and hardware mudules based on FPGA chips. SOC video cores include High Profile H.264 decoder and encoder supporting HDTV resolution video with both 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 color sampling.

SOC's MPEG codecs are implemented using its proprietary technology of single-clock driven, all-hardware architecture (without processors and embedded software), which has a small silicon footprint, low power consumption, high speed, and low latency.

SOC also manufactures end-user products based on its single chip technolgy, which includes FPGA prototyping boards [2] and video-over-IP devices [3].
