Ro Ashika aka Ro Prasad has been a Dj for the band killing joke since 2005.[29] He was asked by Paul Raven (musician) [30]to produce dub dj sets and perform them at future shows.[31] These dj sets are now legendary and known as the killing joke dub sets. [32] Before passing away in 2007, Paul Raven (musician) also enlisted Dj Ro Ashika to produce and perform dub dj sets for his industrial supergroup mob research[33].Dj Ro Ashika was enlisted in 2008 to perform dj sets for The Mission (band) at all four of their farewell shows at the shepherds bush empire in London [34];and also for The Wonder Stuff in 2009[35].In 2009 and again in 2010 Dj Ro Ashika was invited to perform his killing joke dub sets and also co-headline the Acoustic stage at the rebellion festival in Blackpool[36] . In 2010 Dj Ro Ashika was invited to Los Angeles to play acoustic sets at the Cat Club on the sunset strip, and at the mint.[37].The critically acclaimed debut album composed and produced by Dj Ro Ashika in 2007, and featured by BSkyB in the UK and SkyPerfecTv in Japan ;is available on i Tunes ;and was re-pressed and re-released in 2012.[38]. 2012 also saw the release of the long awaited genre defining Acoustic Rock 'n' Roll album by Dj Ro Ashika ; celebrated at Klub Ashika events in Los Angeles, London and Sydney.[39] Following his storming star-studded shows in Los Angeles the release of the genre defining Acoustic Rock n Roll album by Dj Ro Ashika was highly anticipated.[40]Dj Ro Ashika has made an awe-inspiring album which also fills the void in our album collections when we want to hear songs comprising only vocals and acoustic guitar, without the intrusion of other instruments that occurs on most acoustic releases.[41] This genre defining release was celebrated with Klub Ashika events in the USA, UK and OZ,including a Dj Ro Ashika headlining acoustic set at the Rebellion festival in Blackpool UK in August 2012.[42] The Acoustic Rock n Roll album by Dj Ro Ashika,has already received the seal of approval from Dj Ashba[43] and Nikki Sixx [44]. The first track on the Acoustic Rock 'n' Roll album; 'Malibu Beach (and the Rock 'n' Roll sound)' has been played regularly on USA Radio [45]. 'City Of Angels'[46], a new song by Dj Ro Ashika was also being played regularly on USA Radio[47].'Rock n Roll Christmas' has become the most downloaded song from the the Acoustic Rock n Roll album ;and was played on radio stations worldwide in the run up to xmas 2012.[48].Acoustic Rock n Roll history was made on 18th March 2013; when Dj Ro Ashika (legendary killing joke dj), played a storming live Acoustic set in his country of birth , Australia, for the first time, at The Hard Rock Cafe Sydney. [49].The first ever Klub Ashika Acoustic festival was held in London uk at the 12 bar club on 14th July 2013.[50].Dj Ro Ashika was invited to make his fourth appearance on the Almost Acoustic stage to play an Acoustic set at REBELLION FESTIVAL on thursday 8th August 2013. As part of the Killing Joke 35 year anniversary celebrations and for the first time anywhere worldwide; Ro Ashika played a special Acoustic set entirely of Killing Joke songs.[51].Ro Ashika played a surprise Killing joke dub dj set,before Barb Wire Dolls [52] took the stage to play their first ever live show in London UK on 17th june 2013.[53].Ro Ashika played another Killing joke dub dj set before Barb Wire Dolls took the stage to make their debut Rebellion festival appearance on 9th August 2013 and repeated this on the Barb Wire Dolls UK tour in December 2013.[54].The second Klub Ashika Acoustic festival was in London uk at the 12 bar club on 13th July 2014.[55]. Ro Ashika celebrated the worldwide success of his Acoustic Rock n Roll album, returning to play The Hard Rock Cafe Sydney On monday 10th February 2014.[56].Ro Ashika again played his Killing Joke dub dj sets at selected shows on Barb Wire Dolls October 2014 UK tour.[57]. On 4th April 2015, the first annual Klub Ashika Usa Acoustic Benefit Celebration for Love Hope Strength [58] was held at Rock n Roll Pizza in Moorpark California. [59] On 6th April 2015, Ro Ashika played his Killing Joke Dub Dj sets on the first show of the Barb Wire Dolls USA tour at Dipiazzas in Long Beach California. [60] On 14th May 2016 Ro Ashika was invited to play an Acoustic set with Foo Fighters offshoot band Chevy Metal,at Conejo valley days music festival in the USA with thumbs up from Both Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins. [61] On 16th May 2016 Ro Ashika played an Acoustic support set to Barb Wire Dolls at the Whisky a Go Go on the sunset strip. [62]

[Ro Ashika has had an interesting successful career in the music business. He is renowned for his legendary 'Killing Joke Dub' Dj sets (2005) and his genre defining 'Acoustic Rock n Roll' album (2012). Through his Klub Ashika he has been involved with charity events for Love Hope Strength and Conejo Valley Days in the USA, where he played Acoustic sets supporting the band Chevy Metal featuring both Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters . He has been nominated for induction into the Rockgodz hall of fame and has been invited to play on the Rockgodz stage in 2019.

Ro Ashika made his Acting debut in the Bollywood film 'Mubarakan' (2017)

He is also set to feature in the short film 'Built to Be.' (2018) [63]
