Early life and career

Liz Trinnear was born in London Ontario and attended the University of Western Ontario, graduating with a Bachelor of the Arts from the Faculty of Information and Media Studies [1].

Television career

etalk

Liz Trinnear has worked as a host for the CTV Television Network entertainment news program etalk since 2015 [2]. Starting in 2018, she became the Los Angeles-based correspondent for the show [3].

The Launch

Liz Trinnear worked as the host of The Launch Season 2, on CTV Television Network[4][5].

iHeartRadio MMVAs

Trinnear co-hosted the iHeartRadio MMVAs (formally named the Much Music Video Awards) in 2015[6], 2016[7] and 2017[8].

Much (TV channel)

Trinnear started working at Much Music in 2010, after having won the VJ Search 2.0 in 2009 [9]. Trinnear worked at Much from 2010 until transferring to etalk in 2015 [10].

Personal life and charitable work

Liz Trinnear was born with Epidermolysis Bullosa Simplex, a very rare genetic skin disorder that leads to chronic blistering of the skin. She has been outspoken about living with the condition and supportive of numerous causes and charities aimed at Epidermolysis Bullosa Simplex treatment and research[11].

Trinnear has supported the WE Charity since 2014, and has hosted multiple We Day events across Canada[12][13][14].

Trinnear married musician and songwriter/producer Nathaniel Motte in Colorado in 2017[15][16][17].
