Shah Mohammad Ibrahim Ali Tashna is a Muslim thinker, Islamic scholars, social reformers, Indian independence movement activists, a leader of Khilafat Movement and a Composer of many mystic music including Bangla-Urdu-Persian. Agnikund is his best music book.

Early life and career

Childhood

Ibrahim Ali Tashna was born in 1872 AD in the village of Bataiail in Kanaighat Upazila of Sylhet District.[1][2] His father Shah Abdur Rahman Qaderi was a scholar and Mufti. He is a descendant of Shah Taqiuddin, Shah Jalal's traveling companion [3] [4] [5] Tashna's elder brother Maulana Ismail Alam is one of the Bengali speaking Urdu poets।

Education life

After completing his primary education under the supervision of Ibrahim Ali Tashna's father, he went to Fulbari Aziria Madrasa in Golapganj Upazila.After completing the Fulbari Madrasa course, he was admitted to the Darul Uloom Deoband, the center of higher learning for Indian Muslims.।[6] Ibrahim Tashna returned to his hometown after nine years of enlightenment under the tutelage of Fazal Haq Deobandi Muhammad Munir Nanutubi Hafez Muhammad Ahmed.
