University Newspaper

AUB Outlook is a, student led, weekly, newspaper circulated on campus grounds and on their website[1]. It was established in 1949, and gained official status on July 15, 1957 by a liscinse given to AUB under order no.113 issued by the Lebanese Minster of Information.[1][2] Outlook is not affiliated politically, and is not biased towards any sect, religion, race, or ethnicity. It is completely run by students, and is independent from the direct control of the university.[2]

Editorial Board

The Outlook editorial board is assigned on a yealy basis, based on the needs of the publication.[2] It must include at least 12 members and must include:

  1. Editor-in-Chief
  2. Associate Editor
  3. English Editor
  4. Arabic Editor
  5. Section Editors
  6. Proofreader
  7. Layout Editor
  8. Web Editor
