Option 1: Mamoru Hosoda

Article Evaluation
  • Rated Stub-Class by WikiProject Biography/Actors and Filmmakers, WikiProject Anime and Manga, and Start-class by WikiProject Japan / Biography
  • The appearance of the article could use better stylization and organization.
  • The article overall is short.
  • More references, if possible, would be beneficial.
The lead is informative but does not do a good job of explaining what he is best known for. It also does not summarize major points of the other sections. There is no reference for his place of birth. The tone of the studio ghibli section could be improved, "after failing to come up with a concept acceptable to Studio Ghibli bosses" sounds a bit harsh. Also, the organization of the works he produced could be improved by putting it into a table or template of some kind with a standardized set of information.

Option 2: Reverse sexism

Article Evaluation
  • Rated stub-class, of mid to low importance by WikiProject Discrimination, Politics, and Gender Studies
  • Article is short and lacks illustrations.
  • The article does not have a content box.
  • The article has a lot of citations and references but lacks length in the main content.
  • The tone of the article will likely seem biased to readers, especially the phrase, "reverse sexism has been popularized as part of a backlash against feminism, whose proponents tend to believe that the feminist movement has rearranged society as a whole in such a way that it now benefits women and oppresses men."
  • Might benefit from a global perspective how what the term means.
This article is very short, with only one section although the lead has three sections. I think this article could be improved by adding a section about the concept as it appears in sociology, in politics, and notable uses of the term in court cases.

Option 3: A Queer History of the United States

Article Evaluation
  • Rated Stub class
  • Very short
  • Includes an illustration
  • Could possibly use a critical reception section
  • Could possibly use a summary of each chapter?
This article is very short, and the lead breaks down what is notable about the subject into parts that do not appear as sections in the article. There ought to be a critical reception section, a synopsis, awards section, and more information to give context to the names of the chapters as they appear in the chapters section if the chapters section is to stay in the article. It also may be helpful to find queer icons or persons of interest to the topic that appear in the book and have information on how they are mentioned with links to their wikipedia biographies.

Option 4: Japanese mythology

Article Evaluation
  • Needs more citations from reliable sources
  • Needs help with organization
  • Classified as start-class and of top-importance to the
  • WikiProject Mythology
There appears to be disputes between editors about how certain words, terms, names, and spellings have been anglicized. Going through the article and normalizing spelling and capitalization for important words may be helpful. Providing reliable sources for information would also improve the article. If two reliable sources agree on the fact as it is presented in the article than it is less likely that other editors will be in disputes with each other about the nuances of the myths. Creating a section that differentiates shinto mythology from broader Japanese mythology may be helpful. There is certainly plenty of room to add additional references and sections about other notable aspects of Japanese mythology.

Option 5: Hoodoo (folk magic)

Article Evaluation
  • Rated Start-class of Mid-Importance by multiple WikiProjects
  • an image has been requested to improve the article's quality
  • neutrality is disputed, so the Origins section can be re-written to adjust tone
  • The general quality of the writing and the readability could be improved
The neutrality of the Origins section is disputed, so I can look for references and try to fix this section to make the tone better and hopefully resolve the dispute. The Development section is hard to read and understand and could be improved. The Development section is also lacking references. The Development section also may have inappropriate use of quotations. The article may also be improved by a section that covers hoodoo in popular culture and African Diaspora literature.
