Pieter Leenhouts is alive and lives in the "rhubarb" outside of Kars, Ontario. While managing his own woodlot where he lives with his better half,Carroll Woods. Pieter is also active in the [Ontario Woodlot Association] (OWA) at the Provincial level as well as locally with the [Lower Ottawa Valley Chapter] of the OWA. In May 2007, Pieter worked with a dedicated team of alumni volunteers at organising and running a Centenary Celebration for Macdonald high school.
