Kate King (born Katelyn Elizabeth King on December 3, 1993) is a Canadian fashion model.
Early life
Kate King was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. She is half Guyanese. Kate has two older sisters and one older brother.
Career
At age 14, Kate attended a showing of 'Les Miserables' while vacationing in New York. She exited the theater and was approached by a modelling scout. Her mother thought she was too young to enter the business, so Kate waited until 2011, when she was 17, to enter her first season in modelling. [1]
Kate's first show was Rag & Bone in 2011.
In February of 2012, Kate appeared on the cover of Elle Canada. [2]
Kate frequently appears in ads and shows for Dolce & Gabbana. She has also modeled for Rodarte, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Christian Dior, Marc Jacobs, Burberry, Jeremy Scott, TopShop, Urban Outfitters, DKNY, Moschino, Chloé and many more. [3]
