His current research focuses on ubiquitous fundamental epistemologies that dominate the socio/political landscape of S.E. Asia. in particular, the examination of the nature of widely misrepresented populist movements actively promoted by forces loyal to the world’s longest serving monarch, Bhumibol Adulyadej and the resulting implications for international business and globalisation. This research forms the basis of a dissertation entitled “ The Emperor's New Clothes: Populism, economic reform and the sufficiency theory as tools for the consolidation of royal power in Thailand.”
