The company manufactures 3D rigs and provides stereoscopic shooting services worldwide, including 3D work for feature film (e.g. Paramount's Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters[3]), broadcasts (e.g. German Bundesliga), commercials (e.g. Sony, VW) and documentaries. (e.g. NASA Space Shuttle Start)[4]
Founded in 1997 by 3D pionieer Florian Maier, Stereotec equipped the production of the first german 3D live action film Vicky and the Treasure of the Gods[5] with its technology and supervised the 3D production.
The range of Stereotec products include mirror rigs as well as side-by-side rigs for differnt purposes.[6]
