Ilai Nabobo was a rugby union footballer. He represented the Fijian national rugby union team. He made his debut against an Irish side at National Stadium, Suva and went on to play 10 test matches for Fiji.

Originally from Naivicula village in Tailevu. He represented Vatukoula in the domestic league in Fiji whilst being employed at the Emperor Gold mine. Played as a loose forward or lock forward.
