Keith Clizark

Keith Clizark born as Keith Clark is a music producer from the United States. He has produced for artists such as Snoop Dogg and Tha Eastsidaz. The main genre if music under Clizark's Production is Hip hop music. He has produced on Paid tha Cost to Be da Boss, Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told, and Tha Eastsidaz (album) among others. Clizark coined the name "Clizark" from his love of Mozart and began utilizing his name later in his career. He received Diamond Certification from the Recording Industry Association of America and has expanded his career beyond production to include engineering, composing, and writing on various albums and soundtracks.

Early Life

At the age if four Clizark relocated with his mother from Greenville, Mississippi to Long Beach, California. Clizark acquired an interest in music after hearing Parliment's "Flashlight" at a family gathering. [1] A few years later hip hop was born and Clizark used it as the catalyst to express himself musically.[2]

Early Career

Clizark began his career in the early 1980's as a Disc Jockey with the group Beat Control. Between the ages of 17-20 Clizark and his Beat Control Crew began working for Rory Kiffman at the first hip hop radiio station in Los Angles, 1580 K-Day.[3] In 1991 Clizark received label placement with Capitol Records for "You Ain't All That" by group 3D which reached the Billboard charts Top Ten Dance Spot.[2]
