Cambus o'May is a small hamlet near the village of Ballater in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The hamlet has a recorded population of approximately 153 people spread across 81 properties,[1] which are placed sporadically on the northern bank of the River Dee between Aboyne and Ballater. Cambus o'May has an old hotel that sits opposite a white-painted iron suspension bridge, built in 1905 [2] but severely damaged in 2015 by Storm Frank. [3]

The Cambus o'May forest trails network is popular for walking and mountain biking, connecting up with Burn o'Vat and other natural attractions.[4]
