The fourth season of Big Brother (stylized as Big Brother 4: Game On!) premiered on SSG TV. It featured 18 housemates and is set to run for 120 days.

Overview

Auditions

Due to the overwhelming success of the previous season, auditions for the fourth season were opened during the penultimate episode of the previous season. Auditions were reopened to former OLGAnian Big Brother and new housemates, aged 13 and up who have lived in the province of Capiz for at least four years.

Prizes

Hosts

All of the previous season's hosts will return for the new season. Stanley Fegarido and Greggy Mark Mestidio have been promoted to main hosts and may take over for Miguel Angelo Basinillo if the latter is absent.

Format

Each week, housemates must nominate two other housemates for eviction. The top three (or more if there is a tie) housemates with the most nominations will face eviction. On eviction night, one of them will be evicted. However, Big Brother has the power to implement special nomination processes, instant nominations, or disrupt the nomination process (due to a pending task or challenge) if necessary or as part of a twist.

Twists

  • Special Nominations: Carried over from the previous season, one housemate can increase their nomination points from two and one to three and two. This power can only be used once per week and will be available after the evictee has been announced.
  • Lightning Nominations: Each housemate has the opportunity to send another housemate to eviction without the chance of being saved by the Head of House.
  • The Final Vote: Carried over from the previous season, the most recent evictee has one last chance to send two nomination points to a housemate of his or her choice during the next nomination round.
  • Gamechanger Competition: Starting this season, nominees have the opportunity to save themselves from eviction through a challenge. No one will be saved if two or more nominees are tied.
  • Save and Replace: Also carried over from the previous season, the Head of House can save one nominee from eviction, but must also name a replacement nominee. However, Big Brother has the sole discretion to revoke the ability if the Head of House discusses power with the housemates or commits any other violations during their reign.
