Demak conquest of Banten was part of Sultan Trenggana's campaign in West Java, it was one of the most important events in Sejarah Banten, Sunan Gunungjati and Fatahillah led the conquest that took place in Banten Girang, a fiefdom within the Sunda Kingdom from 1523 to 1526, it was conquered through two stages, by religious approach and later military campaign.
