Airports

There are two airports serve Jakarta, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and Halim Perdanakusama International Airport. Soekarno-Hatta International Airport was built to replace Kemayoran Airport. Kemayoran Airport was close due to its location is too near to Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport. Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is serving most of flights to Jakarta, both domestic and international flights. Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport is only for private jets and presidential purpose.

Seaports

Tanjung Priok Port is the main export import port in Indonesia. Sunda Kelapa Port is the inter-island freight service in the archipelago.

Trains

Jakarta is well connected by train to cities in Java Island. The trains are operated by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (PT KAI), the national railway company. PT KAI subsidiary operated commuter train service in Jakarta.

Jakarta is planning to have two lines of monorail and one mass rapid transit subway. Monorail construction has been suspended due to no fund to finance the project. The subway itself is still on the planning.
