Muhammad Ibn Masoud Ayyashi Samarghandi(in psersian:محمد ابن مسعود عیاشی سمرقندی) was a shia commentator,man of literature and hadith.he is author of Tafsir Ayyashi,a shia exegesis on Quran.
introduction
His complete name is Muhammad ibn Masoud Ayyashi Iraqi Koufi.Also his surname was Abu Nazr and known as Ayyashi.He was skillful in religious sciences such as jurisprudence,arabic litterature and Hadith.However he was contemporary with shaykh koleini.[1]Modarres Tabrizi said that Kashi,Author of Rijal book, was the pupil of Ayyashi.It is said that he was engaged wih sciences like medicine,Astronomy and jurosprudence and wrote near 200 books in these spheres.nevertheless his Tafsir ammong his books is more important and familiar.The book written according to Hadith and narratios of tewlver shia Imams.[2].[3]
converting to shia
He was first the follower of Sunni but later he became shia in result of reading shia jurosprudence.He compromised two scientific gathering,one for popular and other for specialists.[4]

Unfortunately most of his work has been lost.Tafsire Ayyashi among his works reminded.[5]Of course just the first half of the commentary reminded.[6]The other works by Ashtiyani are as follow:
